Favourite Venue: There are too many venues that I like to name just 1.
Favourite Steamie: Not wanting to sound too much like a plug, but I just grab bait from the freezers at work when ever I go fishing as I know all the steamies put fish on the bank so am 100% in all of the baits and feel once you have confidence in your bait choice the rest is down to fish location and presentation and they have to be up for a feed of course!
Most used rig: For most of my fishing I try to find fish and without wanting to much disturbance when im on the fish I will use a fluro combi rig fished helicopter style as I feel this gives me perfect presentation over any type of bottom.
Target Fish: I am chasing a couple of mythst the moment and we will just leave it there.
Top Carp Fishing Tip: The 3 IONs = Fish location, Bait application and most important Presentation. Don’t forget always pin your lines down.
Aim in Angling: Just enjoy fishing and like to learn as much as possible on the bank, with limited time due to work and family commitments there is nothing that makes me more excited and buzz more then the chase itself.
Why your on the steamies: Logic really as when the concept first came to us in 2005 it was obvious how much tastier food was steamed rather then boiled and in tern more beneficial so it seemed to be a natural progression for the bait industry and we are just glad we are at the frontline with bait steaming technology.
Achievements since getting on the steamies: Most important of all I have been consistent in catching on my chosen venues and have seemed to winkle out the bigger fish too.
How long have you been on the bait: around 6 years now.
How often you fish: Not very often these days as work and family commitments dictate 1 day session a week if I can squeeze it in This is not the end of the world as I have done plenty of catching over the last 10 years to be fair, its still a great feeling when we get the call from a happy customer with thanks for helping them to bag their target.
